The alto reeds were $24.99 and tenor $26.99 from KesslerMusic. The Omega's I bought in the late 1980s with the clear plastic top. I have several of the fuzzy brown boxes from the 1960s too. What you noticed on the side of the beak is the printer seam, all our mouthpieces have one. It does not alter the sound.
